Dark Matter Physics with Directional Detector

Prof. Keiko Nagao

Directional direct detection of dark matter is next-generation experiment. In the ordinary direct detection, constraints on dark matter mass and cross section have been obtained by detecting recoil energy of dark matter-nucleus scattering. In the directional detection, not only the recoil energy but also direction of nuclear recoil can be detected, and therefore we may obtain further properties of dark matter. In my talk I would like to discuss some properties of dark matter on that we may be able to give constraint with directional detector in the future.
